North End Community centre tries to provide for the physical, social, artistic, creative, and intellectual needs of the community. We offer organized spring soccer for kids 3 - 14. In the winter we have 2 supervised outdoor rinks and a pond for hockey and skating. These rinks may be booked for one hour with the rink attendant for skating or hockey practice.
During the summer months, the City’s Recreation & Culture Division offers a free, inclusive, drop-in program for children ages 5 to 12.
Children enjoy a different theme every day! Days are packed with arts & crafts, sport & games, music & drama. Special guests drop by too! 
Playleaders are trained in first aid, arts & crafts, sports & games, behaviour management, inclusion and Healthy Child Development.

Little ones can come and have fun on the playground and/or cool off on a hot day at the splash pad. Adults and teens can enjoy throwing a basketball or a fun game of volleyball with friends and neighbours.
